Pest-Patrol is a Fake Anti Spyware program. Pest-Patrol tries to trick you into buying it by claiming you have been infected with spyware and then showing you false error reports. Pest-Patrol protection does not scan any spyware. It scans legitimate S/W entries, which present in the system and offer to purchase product to scan those- entries. It spreads other rogue application & spyware on the system. It is downloaded through Zlob and Trojan.

System Antivirus 2008 is Rogue Security Program. It is a Fake Anti Spyware; System Antivirus 2008 is known to be pushed/advertised by various Trojan horse programs. It gives exaggerated report and claims of spyware found or false positives but will not remove spyware unless the user purchases the program. It uses aggressive and deceptive techniques to frighten the user into purchasing the program.
