Contraviro is a fake anti-spyware application. It is a clone of Unvirex. Contraviro usually installed itself onto your PC without your permission, through Vundo Trojan, Virus or fake software. Contraviro forces users into buying its full version through the use of fake online scanners. Contraviro makes the system launch its unregistered trialware each time the PC starts, which mean you will keep getting more and more of its scanners and phony alerts about malware detections on your PC. If your computer is infected with Contraviro, you should remove it immediately.
