Virus Shield 2009 usually installed itself onto your PC without your permission, through Vundo Trojan, Virus or fake software. Virus Shield 2009 configures itself to run automatically every time, when you start your computer. Virus Shield 2009 is able to perform a fake system scan and generate a list you variety of infections which are not present on your system. Virus Shield 2009 will also display false pop-ups and fake system alerts stating the PC is infected, these alerts are used to scare people into buying the software.
